LyfSkill offers a Payment Guarantee to the Sellers for the jobs they have done.

The Seller has the below options:

1.) Seller can receive payments after the job is complete.  This is the default option that applies to an order. Below is the sequence of workflow for this option:

  • Buyer order a microjob
  • Buyer pays LyfSkill escrow in advance before the job has started.
  • Lyfskill escrow holds the payment until the job is satisfactorily complete
  • Once the job is completed, LyfSkill transfers the funds into Seller’s account

2.) Seller can request LyfSkill to process 50% of the payment as soon as the Seller receives the order. Below is the sequence of workflow for this option:

  • Buyer orders a microjob
  • Buyer pays LyfSkill escrow in advance before the job has started.
  • LyfSkill escrow transfers 50% of the amount in the Seller’s account before the job is started.
  • Lyfskill escrow holds remaining 50% of the payment until the job is satisfactorily complete.
  • Once the job is complete, LyfSkill transfers the funds into Seller’s account
  • In case of any dispute, the resolution will be handled according to the workflow agreement.
  • If the Seller has already received payment for the disputed tasks, the seller must refund the payment into LyfSkill Escrow when a dispute is raised. LyfSkill will have the final decision on the dispute.

In both the above scenarios, the Seller can withdraw the funds once there is enough funds in the LyfSkill seller’s account. There must be a minimum of $10 in Sellers’s account before the Seller can request a withdrawal. The minimum withdrawal that a seller can request from their account is $10.
